Mechanical Engineer
Function
As a Mechanical Engineer you are responsible for the design of prototype machines from A-Z based upon the needs and requests of customers. Together with the other members of your team you think about new concepts and work out how to execute them. You follow-up on the internal and external assembly of the machine and provide the necessary assistance and support where needed.
Profile
- you have a degree in Industrial Engineering - Mechanics and preferably a first work experience in mechanical engineering in an industrial environment
- you are bi-lingual, Dutch and English; a good knowledge of French is an advantage
- competences : conceptual thinking, creative, innovative, problem solving, assertive, customer oriented
- you are familiar with 2D and 3D software applications
- you are eager to learn and up-to-date with the latest trends in automation
- you are able to cope with tight deadlines and are stress resistant
- you are willing to travel (on some occasions for a long period)
- you are in a possession of a driving licence B
