Senior Legal Counsel
Function
You provide support and guidance to the Management Team with from a commercial legislation perspective within Belgium and neighbouring countries. You are responsible for writing commercial contracts as well as the general management of existing contracts. In partnership with engineers from sales, solutions and procurement, you work on the composition and evaluation of offers, tenders etc, taking into account the legal-technical aspects as well as the wider social-economic and commercial aspects. You will report directly to the General Manager.
Profile
- you have a master degree in law with a specialisation in commercial law and you have 3 to 5 years experience in an industrial environment
- experience as legal advisor or technical advisor with a juridical background is an asset
- you have strong technical skills and have experience in consultancy and technical and commercial negotiations
- knowledge of the commercial legislation of the neighbouring countries is an advantage
- you are fluent in Dutch and English with a sound knowledge of French. A basic knowledge of German is a plus
- you work autonomously and are able to maintain contacts at a high level. You can negotiate independently and you have the necessary flair and diplomacy to gather all necessary information.
